Business Development Bank of Canada
The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) is Canada’s small business bank. It plays a leadership role in delivering financial and management services, with a particular focus on the emerging and exporting sectors of the economy. Its wide range of development capital products includes term loans, Working Capital for Growth, Working Capital for Exporters, Venture Loans®, and venture capital, as well as a counselling program for exporters called NEXPRO® and ISO registration assistance.

Canadian Commercial Corporation
CCC is a Crown Corporation established in 1946 with a broad mandate: "to assist in the development of trade between Canada and other nations" doing so as a prime contractor and guarantor for sales by Canadian exporters to foreign governments and international organizations, as well as private sector buyers.

environmental enterprises through a market-driven commercialization process to domestic and international users.

"Enviro-Access is a non-profit corporation, dedicated to helping small and medium-sized environmental sector organizations in the development of new technologies and in the advancement of their businesses." Enviro Access also supports "the launching and growth of firms involved in the development and the marketing of environmental technologies, in order to solve environmental problems at the national and international levels and to promote the creation of wealth within our economy." 

Export Development Canada
EDC operates as a commercial financial institution in helping Canadian exporters and investors do business in up to 200 countries, including higher-risk and emerging markets. EDC’s risk management services - insurance, financing, and guarantees - minimize credit risk, support export sales with buyer financing, protect performance bonds, and enhance access to new sources of working capital. EDC provides fast and tailored service through eight industry sector teams (Consumer Goods, Engineering & Professional Services, Forestry, Industrial Equipment, Information Technologies, Base & Semi-Manufactured Goods, Transportation, as well as a team dedicated to Smaller Exporters). EDC also has specialists in geographic markets, project finance, equity, and foreign investment insurance.

The Environmental Industry Virtual Office is a unique partnership between all levels of government, industry, academia and associations. It was designed to provide direct client service and interactivity between the client and the Virtual Office's partners. Forum for International Trade Training
International trade is vital to the economic and social development of Canadian society and the enhancement of its quality of life. The identification and successful pursuit of opportunity — wherever located — depends upon commitment, vision and, crucially, the skills and knowledge to realize it. FITT - Canada’s centre for international trade training and certification - is a national, not-for-profit, professional organization, founded in 1992 by industry and government to develop and deliver international trade training programs and services, establish country-wide standards and certification, and generally ensure continuing professional development in the practice of international trade. FITT programs are delivered across Canada through community colleges, universities, private organizations and on-line.

Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement 
The Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement (OCETA) is a private sector, not-for-profit corporation committed to helping small and medium-sized enterprises overcome the barriers involved in the commercialization of new environmental technologies.

This link joins you to Industry Canada'a Environmental Affairs Branch (EAB). EAB "promotes the development and competitiveness of the Canadian environmental industry both domestically and internationally through the development of information products; facilitation and support of trade, technology, and investment activities; promotion of sustainable development; increased technology exchange; environmental strategy implementation; and policy and program development."

Western Economic Diversification Canada
Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) is committed to helping Western Canadian small and medium-sized businesses grow and create jobs.WD offers a network of business professionals to help with business planning and development, accessing capital, export or trade development, selling to government markets, and providing information on government programs and services for which you may be eligible.

Inter-American Program for Environmental Tech Coop in the Industry Sectors
The Inter-American Program for Environment Technology Cooperation in Key Industry Sectors is an initiative which responds to the challenges faced by small and medium size enterprises in Latin America and Caribbean countries to adopt cost-effective, environmentally sound technologies and management practices.
