T. Earle Hickey, M.Sc., is General Manager, International Division of Jacques Whitford and is responsible for co-ordinating the international activities of the firm. Earle has been involved in various elements of environmental management for over twenty years in a wide range of projects. His international experience includes work in the Caribbean, Russia, China and Brunei for CIDA, the World Bank and private sector clients. For the last four years, he has been involved with Jacques Whitford’s efforts to increase their international work which has included projects in over 50 countries.

Jacques Whitford (JW) is a multidisciplinary environmental science and engineering firm providing consulting services in Canada and internationally to China, South America, Russia, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. JW was established in Halifax, NS, in 1972 and in Canada their 19 offices are located from St. John’s, NF, to Vancouver, BC, with the corporate office located in Dartmouth, NS. International offices are located in the US (5 offices), with project offices in China and partnerships in Moscow, Trinidad and Argentina. Jacques Whitford is a 100% employee-owned Canadian company that currently employs over 750 full-time engi-neers,
scientists and technical support staff.
